Privacy Encryptor FAQ
1. Where are my links and files on Desktop after logining Privacy Encryptor?
Answer: Privacy Encryptor will switch your Desktop to encrypted virtual disk. So after you login, you can't see your original files and links on Desktop but they can be see after you logoff. You can save your files on Desktop and they are safe after login. Other paths that are switched can be found here.
2. Why IE history still exist after clear its history?
Answer: Some files (index.dat, etc.) can't be deleted while they are locked. Privacy Encryptor will mark them to be deleted on next Windows start.
3. Why some traces are left without encrypted into virtual disk?
Answer: You should check if these traces are generated by supported applications at first. If then confirm that you have closed or quit these applications before logoff or quit Privacy Encryptor. Another reason is your virtual disk is full and you need to clean it.
4. Virtual disk if full, how can I handle it?
Answer: You need to clean some traces like temp files under privacy mode to release more space.
5. Can I save my privacy into USB disk?
Answer: yes, you can. It is easy to save your privacy into USB disk. The only thing to do is installing Privacy Encryptor into that USB disk.
